Borb,
well I sold my NIEC around 780 Yen before the Nikkei tanked. Right now I'm riding 2 of my remaining Japanese stocks:

Asahi Softdrinks (2598.J) - announced a Turnaround (16 Yen EPS, next year 70 Yen+) plus reinstated a dividend of 9 yen per share.. stock sthot up to 710 Yen. Still cheap - could go up 2-3 times and not even be expensive.. it's around PSR of 0.20 now..

and I still have JEOL (6951.J) - metrology, PSR of 0.8, nano-breakthru announced last December, stock shot up to 1000 Yen. Now around 800 Yen. Compared to NANO, KLAC, TWAV the stock is damned cheap..

I might be looking into Japanese stocks again around May this year before results get announced to pick up some laggards.. Maybe Shindengen (6844.J)

all the best
