"You want to see pictures of his wounds????? "

That's not what she asked. She asked about the nature &
extent of his three Purple Heart related injuries.

Per this article, they weren't very extensive. If true,
his hero status might not be as haughty as one would
think, considering that most thrice wounded soldiers end
up with at least one serious wound. I doubt that there are
multitudes of triple Purple Heart soldiers that came away
almost 100% unscathed like Kerry, yet present themselves
everywhere they go as a war hero.

Mr. Kerry was assigned to Swiftboat 44 on December 1,
1968. Within 24 hours, he had his first Purple Heart. Mr.
Kerry accumulated three Purple Hearts in four months with
not even a day of duty lost from wounds, according to his
training officer. It’s a pity one cannot read his Purple
Heart medical treatment reports which have been withheld
from the public. The only person preventing their release
is Mr. Kerry.
