Why do you put the words heroic acts in quotation marks? Kerry has stated publicly that one of his wounds lost him two days of service, two others no time at all. But they were wounds, he got them in war, doing hard and brave duty, and qualified therefore for the purple hearts. The silver star was for "distinctive gallantry in action." I don't know what the Bronze one was for, but I think your making fun of HIS war record is disgusting. He was in a position to die, and he performed heroically in it. You're managing to turn me into a Kerry supporter for the first time.
