MQ, modern world has got too complex. Only 1% of the whole population of NZ have the level of knowledge to grasp it.

The institutions we have today -and I don't mean in NZ only I mean the world over- have not adapted fast enough to deal with the increased level of complexity.

Perhaps only 1% of the population of NZ have the levl of understanding to grasp the whole. Humans beings and their society evolve very slowly.

Even though the solutions for the know problems are feasible to implement, they are not saleable to the populace. As a result, this infinitesimal minority have to live along the and within societies that are not functioning as they should.
