Still no evidence for WMDs, this is the best you can come up with.
You wouldn't know the truth if it hit you in the face..
David Kay told us Saddam had personally taken charge of funding a clandestine, AND COMPLETELY PROHIBITED, WMD R&D program.
That's EVIDENCE that no one knew about prior to the war.
And it's more important than ever finding those missing 6,000 chemical warheads.
Because it showed that Saddam was so obsessed by WMDs that he was willing to risk discovery in the face of ongoing inspections.. That HE NEVER INTENDED TO COMPLY WITH THE UN RESOLUTIONS.
That, Carl, is FAR MORE DAMNING than his merely stockpiling weapons that he's already produced.
And it explains why he would not permit any Iraqi scientists to be interviewed by UNMOVIC.
And it's definitely justification for militarily enforcing those resolutions and forcing him to comply. It's not good enough to justify all those dead Americans.
Lessee... we haven't had one significant attack against the US mainland since 9/11.. Libya has given up its WMD program, Saudi Arabia is finally showing some effort against its militant Wahhabists. And we're yet to see the claimed "backlash" from the Arab street that you all talked about.. The Arab world has not all flocked to Al-Qaeda and signed up to become suicide bombers..
And those that have, for the most part, end their lives in attacks against Iraqis...
The only way in which those lives will have been sacrificed for nothing, will be if your POV prevails and the US leaves Iraq to self-destruction in a ethno-religious civil war.
But of course, you wouldn't feel even a bit of shame about that... In fact, once Iraq was involved in a bloody civil war, you'd probably start blaming the administration for creating those circumstances by invading in the first place..
Well, Bilow... you might have the luxury of dwelling in the past and its historical repercussions, but the rest of us have to deal with today, as well as the future..
We have to make the best result come out of current situation. And I'm not nearly the kind of defeatist mentality that you are..
Maybe you should dedicate the same amount of effort in dealing with the violence in our country... Far more Americans people die as the result of violent crime in NYC and DC area alone than have in Iraq..
People die.. People died to create this country and establish the ideas we claim to espouse related to freedom.
And soldiers have died each and every year during peace-time due to training accidents...
So Bilow, you just continue to sit on your ass and try and undercut the morale of our servicemen overseas.. You might not feel that helping others to achieve freedom and opportunity is worth any loss of life, but those soldiers and servicemen apparently do..
The only thing they fear are individuals like you trying to make the US quit before the job is finished...
