Well Steve - I have always assumed that once SS left the pay as you go category it was broke. One and all have used the money. And don't give me any garbage about the current tax cuts. This is a national problem - shared by all - with a simple solution - means testing! Now with a means tested program - the needy could get more and the unneedy would get less. We then could simply drop the fantasy of it being a paid for insurance program and call it the welfare program it is. Bob PS: Recent democratic comments on tax cuts have been talking about cutting the payroll tax - you for that?
