Kerry in VN

Good. This story fills in the part of Kerry's Bio that was hazy. The "Boston Globe" is not a friend of Kerry, and they would have nailed him if they could. When you add this to what we know of his childhood, the BG comes together.

First off, he hero worshipped JFK as a child, and his school classmates said he made no secret of the fact that he wanted to grow up and become President. He realized at the time of his Yale graduation that he needed to serve if he was to be able to run. Following JFK's lead, he became a Naval Officer, and went into the swift boats to match JFK's PT boat experience. Once there, he knew he should take advantage of any opportunity for medals, and did so. He became very negative about Viet Nam, and realized he could leave early due to the Medals.

The above is an excellent BG, and I see nothing really to nitpick about it. But -

This experience made him so anti-Military that I could never trust him as Prez.
