What countries support us, and I don't mean diplomatically? The countries in the Coalition, for starters: Britain Australia Spain Italy Poland Bulgaria Japan etc. Judging from Schroeder's actions, fence-mending seems to be the order of the day in Germany; France is being quite cooperative on Haiti too. Maybe Europe is not so alienated after all. There are more important measures of American policy than whether Frence diplomats pronounce themselves pleased with it. Or were you referring to our policy alienating Arab dictators and the Ayatollahs of Iran? Are those the people you want to please?
