Hi DMA, My point has been that there are veterans (Viet Nam and otherwise) who support Kerry. This is in direct conflict with unclewest's statements that there are none. Not only do I know veterans who support him (and I offered to increase unclewest's circle of veterans by introducing them) but it takes only a few seconds on google to locate articles that cite groups of these guys! It's been an eye-opener to read here how nasty Viet Nam vets can be about their fellow brothers. You'd think that after the reception they got from civilians following the war, after the years of physical and emotional struggles with the effects of that war, they'd be kinder to each other, at least. Yeah, as unclewest says, no veteran likes war. And I can see why: it does something to some men. It's as though anyone who disagrees with them is the enemy, and battlefield goes on forever.
