This virus/trojan horse/spyware issue is getting worse all the time as these scumbags are getting more and more sophisticated all the time. Probably enjoying the challenge while hiding behind the anonimity of the internet.

The March 2 issue of PC Magazine has one of its main stories dedicated to these monsters. It is almost chilling to read. Many of the infected computers are hard to clear as some programs make multiple copies of themselves. Others, if not completely cleaned out, reinstall themselves. Some disable virus and spyware removal software. It's a great read and worth it if you spend any time with a computer.

That and other accompanying articles (including one which rates the effectiveness of Adaware, NAV, McAfee and a few others) can be found at the link below if you can't get a hard copy.
