Yaacov, welcome back and hope that you had a great vacation.
Yes I do not believe that fundamentally anything has changed to alter the prevailing long term trend of the market. After carefully considering the quick carnage in the late trading, it is my belief that this may just be a quick and aggresive correction which would be health for the market. The bond trading was relatively unchanged but the only immediate concern I have is that many of the margin accounts were not settled on Friday and this may result in a precipitous decline on Monday. A corrrection of about 4 to 8 percent from here would be particularly healthy and I think with all the liquiditity out there, bargain hunting will begin as the herd will redirect its selling and fears to aggresive buying. I do not have any long term fears of the market and regard investing as one of the greatest advantages of accruing wealth on the planet.I think the beat up stocks such as the drugs and Gillette would be worth picking up some shares. I do not have to tell you my thoughts of Intel as I think this is a great opportunity and chance to acquire more shares.

I do not think that there will be any action taken by the Fed this week as it is relevant to assist in the governments aim to balance the budget. >>From the FED's perspective, the financial markets are fore- casting a prolonged period of low inflation, so modest stimulus
would be tolerated. In addition, unless conditions worsened rapidly, the improvement in the Federal Budget deficit as a per- centage of Gross Domestic Product would also allow fiscal policy to reverse course and provide stimulus instead of restrain<<<

Tell me about your vacation and what you did. Sonny will be going out west in a few weeks and I will be going to London to do a tour of England, Scotland and Whales. Unlike Sonny I will not be allowed to take a laptop computer with me to jump online and say hi to all here.My wife would break the thing over my head if I did.

Hope you are having a nice weekend welcome back

Best Regards
Frank
