Lizzie, I think several states will be in play because of Bush's assault on the environment. If you look at the list of "battleground" states, the environment (and of course jobs) will be a key issue.

Arizona and Colorado are both vulnerable for Bush.

Bush will probably lose Nevada because of his Yucca Mountain policies (once again ignoring science).

On the flip side, states that might otherwise be close, like New Mexico and Oregon, have strong environmentalist movements and will probably be solidly for Kerry.
