I will call LORD OF THE RINGS winning the Oscar tomorrow. Knock on wood. I was just with the two stars of it tonight.

Now how could that possibly be, my preciousssss, when you obviously spent the entire evening blowing your usual inanities out your wazoo here on SI??

BTW, I don't usually waste my time watching the Academy Awards, but if I catch some of it this evening, I'll keep a sharp lookout for a dumpy looking intern type gal wearing a blue dress with a large Kerry for Pres pin attached. If I catch just a glimpse of you in the audience, I'll have something to tell my grandchildren someday... One of the Big Moments in my Life...
