If the Pakistanis waired money to Atta then they ought to be punished severely. I have never heard that rumor and it sounds wildly far-fetched. But nothing would surprise me inside Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. They are allies and potential enemies both. Weird situation.

Bush definitely made the case for an imminent threat by Saddam, whether he used that exact word not. He warned us of a "mushroom cloud" in our country if he didn't act. Meanwhile Saddam didn't even have any nuclear program.
