In spite of what others say, I welcome reopening the debate on VN. I think it would have a useful bearing on where we are now. Vietnamazation was working til the Democratically controlled Congress cut off funds. The defeat of the NVA during the Easter Offensive in 1972 was proof of that. But by 1975, the SVN were reduced to rationing each soldier to 40 rounds of ammo and one grenade per Month. The NVA then attacked with more armor then the Germans used against France in 1940; about 900 tanks.
