Your charges of racism on my part are a poor substitute for substance or logic in your posts. Islamic law will play a role in Iraq that it did not play before. How "extreme" this becomes will not be clear for some time to come. Reports from Iraq suggest that the social freedom of women in Iraq is substantially more precarious now than it was before the invasion -- with the persistent threat of rape or worse hanging over women who do not conform to Islamic codes of dress for example. The mullahs thank us. The terrorist thank us. And the profiteers and political adventurers who provided the gullible with ludicrous tales of mountains of WMD thank us. But it is a little bit too early to know if the women of Iraq will thank us.
