That's not meant as an insult, but an assessment. There's a good chance that I can save you the time of reading Borg by giving you that information. My wife accuses me of being insulting when I make a statement like that, but I mean it straight forwardly here. Borg, on what he says are historical grounds, does not agree with your position on this matter. He considers himself an expert and scholar on the historical issues in question. Lewis happened to be an expert on mythology, as a professor of midieval and other literature. Yet you dismiss his evaluations as subjective as well.
