I run NAV, Swat-it, and Spybot-Search and Destroy on a Dell P4 desktop and an IBM laptop, and I update all regularly. Both of these machines have recently been infected with a bot or a trojan that persistently reinstalls itself:

The laptop cannot get rid of a program called New.net. Upon reboot it is still there regardless of the method used to delete it..

The desktop's home page has been kidnapped and instead of my usual home page a blank page comes up with only the words 'About Blank' in the address line (now http://, nor even a WWW). I change the address line and no problem, or I go the IE tools/internet options/ and change the homepage there, in either case the 'About Blank" home page starts up after reboot.

Advice, thoughts, or ideas to get rid of these self reinstalling bots would be of help.

TIA
