RtS, That is my take on what is going on.

One has to wonder if some of these analysts are making downgrades just to allow institutional investors another chance to buy shares lower than what they hope to sell them to us in the future.

I have the definite feeling that many of the "entities" in the market made some bad calls early this year to "get out of the Market" - wait for a sizeable retrenchment, and then buy in again to "ride the new up cycle". I think JPM is one of those that blew it and they picked today to try to drive the market lower.

Why pick on INTC is one thing I can't fathom. INTC has already had a 15 percent retrenchment from 8 January to last Friday's close. It would be one thing to possibly expect further loss if the economy was weak, sales were down, etc, etc, but not when we are clearly on the up slope of the curve.

I don't claim to know how this week is going to turn out, but if the news continues in a positive manner, and if the employment report exceeds expectations on Friday, I think we have more upside to go.
