Carlyle is a secretive company. They don't publicize their deals.

Actually, they do. There is a quite a bit of transparency with Carlyle. I don't know if they publicize their returns. Very few private equity firms do. I have seen some numbers published by some of their investors. The results have been a mixed bag. Soros was a big early investor.

You have to admit, "The Iron Triangle" was a pretty lame effort.
