I'm glad to hear that you've done well since taking
a beating during the downturn.
Maybe it's your "all or nothing" style... because swinging
for the fences can either make or break you.

>>That board you guys hang out on is a total joke.
Everyone talks like they know exactly what the market
is doing at every moment of the day which
in reality couldn't be farther from the truth.<<

I am sorry that you think the board is "a total joke".
There are some excellent traders on that board. I know
this for a fact because I've had the pleasure of
meeting several of them in person.
My guess is that when you posted on the board, your
"all or nothing" style was showing. None of the people
who hang out there fit into that style... at least
not to my knowledge.
It takes a strong personality to just go for the home run.
Maybe that scared a few people. Maybe they tried that
in the past and got seriously burned.
It's just that we've (the board) have seen many new
posters who have flexed their strong convictions... but they
have lasted. Most of us have been around
(including previously at another board) for over six years.
I think I can safely say that we've stood the test
of time and extreme market conditions.
One thing we don't do is mention the size of our trades.
We decided long ago that not everyone has the same bankroll
and stating trade sizes wasn't meaningful. We're more
interested in TA styles and anything new we can learn.
It really is an interesting board - from my standpoint-
and although I don't agree with all the posters, I still find
it interesting and entertaining.
I'm not suggesting that you change your opinion of the board.
Do whatever you feel is right.
In the meantime, I'm going to make one suggestion - relax.
I say that because I've seen too many otherwise decent
traders get overly emotional about being right.
So, my suggestion is just stay in the moment and trade
within yourself.
Thanks for listening.
