He never answered.
But I disagree with your basic premise in any case. Is it all right for Poet to ban me from LWP? And Mephisto from Donkey's Inn? If so, why is there a problem with JLA banning you from RWET? There are threads oriented towards a particular political persuasion and if they say that's what they are, I see no problem with banning those not in agreement.
What I do see a problem with is claiming a thread is fairly and evenly run, then acting just the opposite. And, as others already have said, I'd say FaultLine has shown a thread can be fairly run.
After reading the thread (and the 2 revisions) I see that he started the thread because he was banned from another thread and his new thread was a sort of revenge for the treatment he felt he didn't deserve on the other thread.
Why is that a problem? Poet does it. Mephisto does it. tsigprofit does it. Have you complained to them about their policies?

Read the original board header on this thread, then ask yourself what jlallen would do if this was his board.
Oh, he'd ban you. And the header would make it clear that that was his prerogative. Actually, it's the prerogative of any threadhead of a moderated thread. You don't like it, you are certainly free to start your own thread and ban them.
