The future course we take in Iraq would indeed be helped along substantially by a change in Washington. It is time to clean house before we can do much to improve things. The Bush Administration made the mess -- they need to be held accountable as the first step in clearing the air. The wounds Bush has suffered are almost entirely self-inflicted. I am not sure there is any way to dig the current administration out of the hole they dug for themselves. Cleaning up the White House is something that needs to be done if you want the US to move forward in the mess in Iraq.
