I forgot to jot down the name of the free pop-up stopper I used and now have Pop-Up Stopper, I think it's called..the icon on the toolbar is a white gloved hand pointing upward, or maybe it's saying "stop"? The one before was better in that it didn't pop up an announcement that it zapped a pop up every time it did. It's kind of a pop up in itself.

The one I used before that I liked I think had an icon with I think a white box with a red X in it. Anybody know the name of it?
