The facts on how much this movie makes is not the point. The point is that there are a myriad of opinions on this film.. and the controversy in and of itself will promote more people paying to see this film. Bad publicity is sometimes more persuasive than good to effect this response. I keep reading reviews both pro and con ... and talking to friends some of whom had to leave in the middle as it was just too gruesome for them. Mel will make a bundle. The movie will be around for a long time. This is not the point. What does the film have to prove, say and what are your opinions one way or the other. Suma
