Don't discount the possibility that you may be hitting F5. It's easy to do, and you'll lose anything you've typed into the form.

Those are the shortcut keys on some keyboards that can be assigned favorite URLs or Windows/Dos commands (Mail, Weather, IM, etc.) How they are programmed depends on the keyboard.
