Frank Magazine cemented the image in my mind of the Reform Party. They phoned a sitting member from BC to alert him that the Liberal Government had sent three Zamboni machines to central Africa as part of a Canadian cultural export initiative. The kicker of course was that they didn't play hockey in Africa.

Well this guy just got so enraged at this typical wastefulness of the Canadian Government! He was totally up in arms. Of course it was all a joke - no Zamboni's were sent to Africa. But how such a buffoon got elected is beyond comprehension - he didn't have a clue.

What are the Conservatives offering up now? Stronick doesn't even speak french which is OK in Alberta but won't fly in Quebec. It's the Reform party all over again. The reforms are like the Bloc - a regional "somewhat fringe" party only - not a serious alternative.
