Yup right off the top of your head. If you need any better understanding that the source of H2 for an H2 economy is not known - your post provides it.

H2 production takes energy. H2 production in large quantities takes lots of energy. Then when you have it - it is about the most hazardous fuel in the world - it leaks through the smallest of opportunities.

I repeat. Politicians of the left or right who pontificate about H2 as the fuel of the future - are either, stupid, dishonest or uninformed. For politicians of all stripes I lean towards the d word.

Of course there is the year 2500 - by then there will be something we cannot even imagine today to solve any energy concerns.
