11:33AM SpectraLink soars on Nortel, Alcatel distribution deals (SLNK) by Mark Cotton NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Shares of SpectraLink (SLNK) climbed 16 percent to $19.78 after signing two distribution agreements with telecom equipment suppliers Nortel (NT) and Alcatel. Nortel will brand and sell SpectraLink's NetLink wireless telephones as part of its range of products enabling companies to make calls via the internet, a process known as voice over internet protocol (VoIP). Alcatel said it will offer SpectraLink's wi-fi-based wireless telephones to business customers, in a bid to meet the growing demand for workplace wireless telephones.
