Frank,

There has been little, if any, discussion on DVV and the the reported abundance of eclogitic garnets within the diamond stability and diamond inclusion fields from the Nanuq project. I believe these are of far more importance than many realize. Diamondiferous eclogite xenoliths (studded with very large diamonds up to the percent range) recovered from mines indicate that eclogites can contribute a large percentage of big diamonds, enhancing the size distribution within a deposit. I don't recall any other diamond explorer ever reporting such an abundance of eclogitic garnet chemistry within the diamond eclogites and world diamond inclusion fields. Have a look at slide #9 in the latest presentation:

G-10's are good but I believe lots of DI eclogitic garnets are better:-))

cheers,
teevee
