Sure it will - so what is the best way to fix it? Anything other than a growing economy is not the way to fix it. Now - how best to get such an economy - how do we grow the pie - that is the issue. Trial lawyers on the roam - doubt it. Wacko environmentalists in power - doubt it! Corporate welfare - doubt it! There are major issues that need legitimate debate. Sadly our polarized electorate make such a debate unlikely. Some day each side will have to look in a mirror. For the dems - a moderate centrist like Joe Lieberman - not a prayer. He could never win the left half of the left.
