Do you really think JTS is buying shares to maintain a minimum market cap? I didn't find any indication of such intent in their reports. Since they are in serious financial trouble, is it not more likely for them to sell than buy shares? I've been keeping eye on the Edgar site for any S-3 filings by JTS.
