Thats just not fair. Not fair? Maybe not fair that an untrained blue collar worker got so lucky that was earning big bucks all those years when his fellows were working at Home Depot. He should have been counting his blessings, putting money away for a rainy day, and thinking about what he was going to do when circumstances changed. But the system didn't tell him that. Instead, the system told him that, once he got into that steel job, he had it made for life. It did him a disservice, one that he bought into eagerly and without examination. He could have saved up enough money during the good times to buy a nice little business to carry him forward.
