TP, The focus here is not the role the U.S. played as much as the need for this administration to so boldly lie about it in the face of overwhelming evidence.

I don't see any "overwhelming evidence." Just the words of Aristide himself, plus a witness who I think is being coerced by Aristide.

Personally, I think Aristide is just blaming America for the mess he was responsible for. I mean, what possible motive could any American have in "forcing" him out of office, especially if it was inevitable that he was going to be overthrown?
