An historical note. Germany was the most comfortable place in europe for jews to be before Hitler. That's also part of what praeger was talking about. Germany produced Marx, Freud, Einstein and countless others. Jews remember these things because they have no choice. Intellectually i believe America is different but blacks and gays still dont believe it and all the causes of their alienation have not yet been addressed or sometimes addressed in wrong-headed fashion. mike
