There are many significant stories within this story.

The focus here is not the role the U.S. played as much as the need for this administration to so boldly lie about it in the face of overwhelming evidence.


TP, I disagree with most things the Bush administration does. However, in this instance, I think the only thing they are guilty of is not watching the unfolding turmoil in Haiti until it was too late. They also don't need Cheney commenting........with just a few words from his mouth, Cheney could turn Mary Poppins into a hated 'ho!

IMO, the damage is done.........only S. McClellan, the press secretary, and maybe Powell should be the ones commenting at this point.
