Absolutely serious! A Republican for Kerry.

I like Kerry on several issues:

1) Economy. I agree with his proposals on the deficit and repealing a portion of Bush's tax cut.

2) Jobs. I am for free trade. Bush is actually a protectionist (protection of markets for large international corporation, not jobs). Here is a very good commentary contrasting Kerry and Bush:

3) Defense and security. I agree completely with Kerry's proposals to 1) fund our Country's internal security, 2) stay focused on our real enemies (al qaeda), 3) stay focused on proliferation of Nukes (as opposed to Bush's conflation of Nukes and Mustard gas!), 4) address the underlying issues in the middle east.

On the environment and civil liberties, any of the Democrats would have been fine with me.

But most of all, Kerry is clearly a thinking person. After suffering with an ideologue for 3+ years, we need someone that will use facts and science to make his decisions.
