You have a tendency to always think your side is unjustly persecuted, it comes out in a lot of your posts.

Both sides are going to be taking cheap shots. Get used to it, and take it for what it's worth on both sides. Bush looks bad vs. Kerry wrt Vietnam, you can't change that. Kerry will look bad vs. Bush on some votes; Bush doesn't have the congressional voting record to review. Dem's have to get used to it.

It the end, those "issues" won't decide the election.
