I'm heading home tomorrow. It was quite an adventure! As to the Passion of Christ...I DO wish to see it soon. I think I understand it fairly well from considering the motive and the reaction. It is so stupid to think that SUFFERING has some intrinsic merit. But sacrifice relates to our terror and to our hope that appeasement has advantage. And so the priest burns the caul ands eats the loin.
