Looking over the Type 2 results, I get the impression that final studies will win out here, as well. The cholesterol and weight reduction were highly significant , as was the 6 mo. glucose control .The 12-mo. glucose control missed their standard, but still had a good P value nevertheless, which shows a high probability that the difference was not due to chance. Their discussion of that point seemed satisfactory
as well.

We shall see.
