Lorne, I heard Kerry's views on Haiti during one of the debates. I think that now we have the TV where we can hear from the candidate directly.

In the debate, Kerry claimed that this Administration, from day 1, had a hatred for Aristide. That hatred resulted in their ignoring Haiti by way of aid. And when the people revolted, the Bush Administration stood by and watched.

It is very easy for us all to see and judge for ourselves that the Bush Administration should have upheld democracy in Haiti and worked with the rebels to have their Govt. changed in a democratic way. But Bush did not want to do so deliberately.

Now you tell us what Kerry claims is wrong. Tel us that Bush did not desire regime change in Haiti also. Bush foreign policy is based on regime change in other countries. I think the American people should decide on whether it is time for a "regime change" here in the US.
