Not for me. I remember MicroChannel and OS2. IBM's attempt to tie everyone to IBM

I remember Borland and DBaseIV. Thinking that all they needed was the equivalent of dbase, spread sheet and wordproscessor.

I remember WordPerfectCorp and TaskSwitcher.

Sunw sells hardware BECAUSE in the past it has bundled very good software with (read: 'that only runs on') proprietary software.

The business plan does not work long term in this environment.
