Hi russett,
that would normally come to the government sooner possible the idea now that many trusts (energy especially) are embarking on the road to paying out a smaller % of cash flow will an eye to using this on acquisitions and / or finding more 'stuff' to pump.. Setting aside a large portion and not distributing it but reserving for other 'stuff' could be a gray area of contention.. So I guess they should forsake that tack and return to distributing as much as possible and using good ole dilution for acquisitions amid crys of 'ponzi'... ???

Alas even my the RRSP 'trust' causes me grief realizing that once rolled into a RIF for example @ 69 (still 20+ years away) I have a limited time to spend it all before the greedy guys force me to collapse it and take a big tax hit..

I'm planning to roll into the RIF much earlier so I can spend it all into senility right down to the last penny ;o)

Maybe the grasshoppers are right ?
Spots..

BTW I penned an email off to Goodale, Martin and Mackay (my mp) concerning this and of course reminding them an election was due. I didn't tell them though I voted Alliance since the PC's bust ;o) That too may change with the results of the leadership race..
