I don't know that the premise that wall street backs republicans is correct. Wall seems to support any candidate who will be favorable to their interests and that has often been democrats.

One must beware of polls which are of the general public. They are generally wrong. Those polls of "likely voters" are generally more accurate and Bush is doing fine in those polls.
