Hi all,
My personal gripe (not being a daytrader) is why can't stocks that trade in decimals(quoted) be bought and sold in decimals ? I sent e-trade a email and recieved a canned(i think) response that I could always use the phone to do decimal limits. Two questions.
If a human can do it why not the server ?
If a server really can not do it then why do I have to pay extra to do it on the phone ?(eg I feel I'm being penalized for having a stock with the bad luck to be under 1/4)

I know e-trade pays lurkers to keep track of what's being said so there is a chance that this thread is being forwarded somewhere useful.

To balance things out, when the server is responding the amount of research advailable is quite outstanding so I'm trusting(cringe) that things will continue to improve at E-trade.

Good trading all !
Rob J.
