Ashcroft has a lot more class than Al Gore. He could have rightly called for a recount in that election. Some polls in St. Louis were open until 10 or 11 at night! In direct violation of a judge's order. But those votes were allowed to stand. When you factor in Democrat corruption, it's doubtful Gore won the popular vote, as is commonly believed....
