Rightwingers are desperately jealous of Kerry's real war hero status so they will do ANYTHING to smear and disparage it, even attack McCain, Clark, Hagel, Cleland and the institution of military medals itself. They just cannot allow Jk to be seen for what he really is compared to AWOL Bush, and yes Bush really did go AWOL. And they know it. Of course Poppy got him off, as usual.
