Ted, SUVs pollute the air and use up valuable fossil fuels, impacting not just the people who drive them but everyone. Masturbation and homosexuality are personal expressions that impact no one other than the persons involved.

If a local girl scout troop endorsed the notion that SUVs were actually beneficial to the environment, you'd probably want to boycott them as well.

As for masturbation, homosexuality, and other such topics, some think Planned Parenthood is actually destroying the moral fabric of this society. Of course you're going to disagree, maybe even think of those parents as kooks, but why is your view any more significant than theirs?

What's up with you? Just a few short months ago, you professed to be an environmentalist. Now, you complain nearly once a week about environmentalists and their hate for SUVs. That coming from someone who now lives in OC.

Since when did I ever profess to be an "environmentalist"? If anything, I believe in caring for the environment, but I'm not an "environmentalist." (Kind of like most women believing in feminist causes, but not calling themselves "feminists.")

I only brought up the environment because I knew it was a cause you strongly believe in. Now imagine for just a second that some parents in Texas feel that strongly about moral issues like sexuality.
