We had dinner with a young democrat last night. We had an open and lively discussion about GWB. We asked her to try to explain why liberals hate GWB......she couldn't.....but she did admit that she was capable of hatred. THAT certainly did lead to a provocative discussion. She is absolutely convinced that the "war on terror" has been overblown and that 9/11 was "an isolated incident, conducted by average criminals, that had little impact on America overall." I was rather stunned by that statement. WMD was her big issue and the "lie" surrounding their existence. When I asked her what she thought about the David Kay report, she didn't know who he was, She also didn't know anything about the A. Q. Khan network. I've promised to send her some information and to keep her regularly updated on this subject. It's a shame that liberals don't fully educate and inform their young ones with all of the facts before they send them out on their own to defend their position. That remote possibility would have made for an interesting discussion. M
