Barry and John, when I continue to see that PC penetration rates remain stuck at about 40% over the last year in the U.S. I realize something has got to happen to entice the rest of the population to buy a PC. The biggest barrier I believe is simple fear. Many, many, people are just simply afraid of trying to master this technology and I believe voice recognition could be the catalyst to entice them into the marketplace.

Even simple commands displayed could do wonders for PC sales. Things like, load disk. erase program, log onto internet. It's inevitable, and it's likely to happen in the next couple of years on a huge scale.

Intel I believe could do more to help this development along. Maybe even offering a price break for OEM's who install such systems. Increasing PC penetration rates is one of the real keys to Intel's continued good fortune.

Michael

p.s. Are you guys sure you didn't marry my wife while I was out to see last time. <gg> Well at least you shined my shoes. :-)
